Ubisoft Interested in Ethereum Network
A report from French publication “Les Echos”, claims that game developer Ubisoft is exploring the use of the Ethereum network, and that they supposedly have a dedicated blockchain team. While it would be monetarily advantageous for AAA developers to not give players ownership, perhaps Ubisoft believes mass adoption of blockchain gaming is inevitable, and they want to be ahead of the curve. A company of Ubisoft’s stature integrating blockchain would be a game changer (pun intended). Ubisoft has produced games such as: Assassin’s Creed, For Honor, The Division, Ghost Recon, and Far Cry.
