Austrian Crypto Stamps, Cryptokitty Interoperability Feature, Decentraland Avatars Now Available, MLB Champions All Star Packs Available, F1 DeltaTime Auction & Giveaway
Austrian Post Office Released “Crypto Stamps”
Toward the end of last month the Austrian post office released 150,000 limited edition crypto stamps on Ethereum. Once purchased the stamps can be used (physically) to send mail, and can also be stored in their crypto wallet as an NFT collectible. There are 5 (randomly issued) stamp classes: 1,500 red stamps; yellow, 10,000; blue, 20,000; green, 40,000; black, 78,500. The stamps retailed for 6.9 euro, but are selling for more on the secondary market.
The Stamps don’t offer much utility besides digital collectibility, but perhaps in the future blockchain functionality can be used to incorporate tracking and confirmation. Regardless, this is the first time a government has implemented NFTs, and is a step toward mainstream adoption.

New feature helps users identify Kitties that are able to unlock content in other Dapps (in other words, they are “interoperable”). Kitties that have interoperability will display a badge in the lower right corner of their Kitty card (see gif above).
